Why did you join NHC Pittsburgh? 

To gain experience serving others and hone my skillset as an aspiring public health professional. 

  

What do you hope to gain or learn during your service term? 

I hope to gain experience working directly with beneficiaries. 

  

What are you most looking forward to during your service term? 

Serving members in my community and meeting new people. 

  

What is something you appreciate about serving in Pittsburgh/at your Host Site? 

I appreciate getting a chance to speak with patients, help address their questions and serve in my hometown. 

  

What are your plans after your service as an AmeriCorps member? 

I would like to work in health promotion in a government setting.
