What are your plans after AmeriCorps service?
Post AmeriCorps service I look to attend business school.

Tell us about an employment, service, or research experience that was important to you.
Being a part of the Summer Scholars program at the University of Rochester Medical Center was important for me because it showcased the power I had within myself. It challenged me to think differently about myself, my goals, and the people I come in contact with.

What first sparked your interest in community service?
I've always had the zeal to help others. However, as I began to put myself in others' shoes I saw the world from various perspectives. I appreciated and was blessed to not have struggled as much as a child. I wanted other people to not struggle as well. So I provided my services.
