Jake Reed
Program Director National Health Corps-Pittsburgh

Jake started with NHC in September 2021 as a Program Coordinator then moved into the Program Director role at the start of 2022. He is originally from Westminster, Maryland, but he attended Slippery Rock University starting in 2015. At Slippery Rock, Jake worked with the football team as a student assistant for 3 years and was then promoted to Offensive Graduate Assistant coaching running backs and tight ends. While at Slippery Rock, he earned his BS degree in Public Health and his MPH (Masters in Public Health) degree specializing in health promotion and wellness. His favorite thing about coaching and NHC is building relationships, and working with ambitious, hard working people who have a passion for what they do and helping the Pittsburgh Community.

In his free time, you will find Jake outdoors hiking, hunting, or fishing in areas surrounding Pittsburgh, as well as enjoying time with his wife and son.
