Where are you from?

I am from Lombard, IL

Why did you decide to join NHC?

I wanted to join NHC because of its goal to help and serve communities in need. I believe everyone should have equal access to healthcare and public services and wanted to join a community of people who have the same goals in mind.

What are you hoping to gain or learn during your service term? 

I am hoping to gain more knowledge about the ins and outs of public health and how to play a different role in a clinical setting via doing health education. I am also excited to learn more about available services offered at the community level in order to assist people through the labyrinth that healthcare can be.

What are you most looking forward to during your service term?

I am looking forward to gaining valuable skills of working with different age groups and how to effectively help each person navigate personal healthcare.
