Where are you from? 

I studied graphic design at American University in Washington DC; I’ve worked professionally since 2013 in my field. I have relocated to Delaware from Maryland.

Why did you decide to join NHC?

I’ve been so happy to find a place here where I can express my need to help others and care for the world around me. As a person who loves her job, I am always excited to accomplish the goals presented to me for the greater fulfillment of myself and others I get to meet every day. 

What are you hoping to gain or learn during your service term?

During my service term, I hope to learn more about community resources and service networks so I can create a directory of organizations that connect underserved families and children with food assistance, support services, and other resources that help meet their everyday needs.

What are you most looking forward to during your service term?

I am looking forward to connecting with the community and my fellow NHC members in and around Delaware.
