Why did you join AmeriCorps/National Health Corps? I was looking for an experience that would help me gain a more comprehensive understanding of community health and the barriers to balancing a healthy lifestyle.

What are you hoping to gain from your year of service? I hope to gain insight into how to more effectively and efficiently serve populations with varying backgrounds and needs. I’d like to enhance my health communication skills, as well as meet like-minded, passionate individuals.

What are your plans after AmeriCorps service? I’ll probably continue my education after completing my AmeriCorps service. However, I am keeping my options open for now.
