DanaRose attended Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, and studied Neuroscience. During this service year, she  hopes to increase her understanding of the existing barriers to health services and health education in underserved communities, as well as learn strategies for overcoming those barriers. She is also looking forward to developing her skills in interacting effectively with individuals of diverse backgrounds.
