Why did you decide to join NHC?

I joined NHC because I wanted to learn how I can use professional skills to serve my community.

What are you hoping to gain or learn during your service term?

I want to learn more about the social determinants of health and how organizations, policy and poverty impact them. I want to learn about the problems communities face and different avenues for solutions as well as how I can use my skills to impact communities in a positive way.

What are you most looking forward to during your service term?

I am most looking forward to learning as much as I can and making meaningful relationships with the people I’m working with, for, and the rest of the cohort!
