Why did you join AmeriCorps/National Health Corps?

I wanted to do something meaningful that related to public health during my gap time before attending medical school.

What are you hoping to gain from your year of service?

I hope to gain knowledge and experience in public health issues to be better prepared when I become a medical health provider.

What are your plans after AmeriCorps service?

I plan to teach English either in South America or Asia after my AmeriCorps term; then, attend medical school the following fall.

Where do you envision yourself in 5 years?

In five years, I envision myself completing my last year of medical school, hopefully with a good idea of where my residency will be.
