Where are you from? 
I was born and raised in Dhaka, Bangladesh and have been living in PA since 2017

Why did you decide to join NHC?
Having worked with a wide variety of patient populations in Philadelphia and its surrounding areas throughout undergrad, I knew that serving vulnerable patient populations here is something that I wanted to dedicate my time to. Extensive google searches led me to find the National Health Corps and the program’s core competencies directly aligned with mine

What are you hoping to gain or learn during your service term?
During my service term I hope to gain a better understanding of our current healthcare system. I also hope to acquire the necessary skillset needed to help patients navigate through it. 

What are you most looking forward to during your service term? 
I am looking forward to fostering meaningful connections with patients as well as the providers at the Health Center. I am also excited to be living in Philadelphia and to experience all that it has to offer.
