What is your title and role at your host site? I am the Women’s Service Outreach Associate where I provide education and support to prenatal and postpartum clients. I also assist women in accessing prenatal care.

Why did you join AmeriCorps/National Health Corps? I stumbled upon the National Health Corps while researching the Peace Corps. I decided to join the National Health Corps because their mission aligned with my interests.

What are you hoping to gain from your year of service? I am hoping to gain knowledge, and hands on experience while further developing my passion to serve in the medical field.

What are your plans after AmeriCorps service? I plan on going to medical school.

Where do you envision yourself in 5 years? I envision myself working for a practice or organization dedicated to the health care of women.
