Why did you join AmeriCorps/National Health Corps? I joined to experience an opportunity of serving underprivileged populations to aid in my professional growth as a future healthcare provider. I wanted to enhace my skill set and learn valuable ways to improve the lack of improvements in communities to help provide universal, equal healthcare.

What are you hoping to gain from your year of service? I am hoping to develop and gain a more diverse understanding of healthcare and challenges faced in underserved communities. I look forward in giving back to the community and help facilitate productive changes.

What are your plans after AmeriCorps Service? After, I plan on attending a Physician Assistant program.

Where do you envision yourself in 5 years? I envision myself graduated from Physician Assistant school.
