What is your title and role at your host site? Outreach Coordinator

Why did you join AmeriCorps/National Health Corps?

I am looking to gain some more insight and experience in public health. I only started taking public health classes my last year of school and loved it!

What are you hoping to gain from your year of service?

I hope that I can learn how to maintain positive and beneficial relationships between the community that I will serve and the organization that I will serve for.

What are your plans after AmeriCorps service?

I would like to find steady employment in the public health realm and go back to schools for a master’s degree.

Where do you envision yourself in 5 years?

In five years I will have gotten my MPH degree and will be working as a coordinator of special programs for the state of Maryland.
