What is your title and role at your host site? My title is Outreach Specialist and I will represent the Coalition in the community by providing presentations on healthy lifestyles and pregnancy as well as conduct outreach for pregnant women to refer them to the Healthy Start Program.

Why did you join AmeriCorps/National Health Corps? I joined AmeriCorps /National Health Corps because I want to fully reconnect with the communities that I will serve in my future career. It provides me with a productive gap year before medical school where I can gain value experiences and work ethic.

What are you hoping to gain from your year of service? I want to gain valuable experiences that will help me be the best I can at my future career.

What are your plans after AmeriCorps service? After the  AmeriCorps service I will be entering medical school.

Where do you envision yourself in 5 years? In five years I envision myself finishing medical school and starting a medical career in the Air Force.
