Follow Erika Sarabia around as she completes a service day as a Health Care Promoter at El Dorado Community Health Centers! A typical day for her includes COVID-19 vaccine data and interaction reporting, and lots of community outreach. Increasing COVID-19 vaccine numbers using unique outreach and fun events has been her main focus as an NHC member this service term.

Erika Sarabia

My name is Erika Sarabia and I serve as a Health Care Promoter at the El Dorado Community Health Centers. I live in Sacramento and recently graduated from UC Merced with a bachelor’s degree in Public Health. After my service year, I plan on attending graduate school for my master’s in Public Health as well. My current interest is community and family health and I hope to pursue a career in that field in the future!
