I was born and raised in Fresno, CA.

Why did you decide to join NHC?

I joined NHC because I want to engage with my community and help with the health disparities that exist in the central valley.

What are you hoping to gain or learn during your service term?

I am hoping to gain professional development skills such as effective communication and social media skills. I also hope to learn more about health education and public outreach so I can better serve my community.

What are you most looking forward to during your service term?

I am looking forward to educating the youth on healthcare career options and hopefully improve access to healthcare professionals, especially specialists, in the central valley.
