Where are you from?

I was raised in Blacksburg, Virginia and also attended college in Virginia at William & Mary.

Why did you decide to join NHC?

I’m passionate about urban health access and wanted to get more into street medicine, and a friend of mine (Saba Moussavian, 2020-2021 Cohort) who went through the program couldn’t recommend it highly enough as a starting point for that kind of work.

What are you hoping to gain or learn during your service term?

I hope to grow as an advocate and keep learning what it means to meet people where they are.

What are you most looking forward to during your service term?

Working alongside and learning from other people invested in community health and engaging with SF’s vibrant community!
