Where are you from?

I am serving as a Community Outreach Worker with BIMP Black Mothers in Power. I’m currently involved with the Wilmington Learning Collaborative as the parent guardian advocate & I am a Licensed Massage Therapist.  I currently reside in Wilmington DE

Why did you decide to join NHC?

I joined the National Health Corps because I wanted to be a part of promoting better access to health and wellness. I want to get out into the community, create relationships and make a difference. 

What are you hoping to gain or learn during your service term?

During my time with National Health Corps, I hope to impact many lives and make a positive difference. One of my long-term goals is to be able to provide massage therapy services to women who have experienced domestic violence. 

What are you most looking forward to during your service term?

Building community and fellowship.
