
Ginny Nagy
Ginny Nagy (she/her) has over twenty years’ experience working the field of public health, largely focusing on international public health. She most recently was a Senior Program Manager on the tuberculosis team at USAID, and prior to that a Senior Multilateral Policy Advisor for the Office of the Global AIDS Coordinator at the State Department, a Program Manager for the Center for Disaster Assistance Medicine at the Department of Defense, and an International Health Policy Analyst for the Department of Health and Human Services. She also served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Togo, West Africa.
She recently moved from Washington, D.C., to Pittsburgh, PA, and began in the position of Pittsburgh NHC Director at the Allegheny County Health Department in the summer of 2025.
Ginny has a bachelor’s degree in history from Dickinson College, an MPH from Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, and a juris doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where she was an editor on the Environmental and Public Health Journal. She was admitted to the Pennsylvania bar in 2006.
In her free time, Ginny enjoys cooking, spending time with family and friends, traveling, and snuggling with her cat, Junebug, and her dog, Paula.
