Shantel Love
As Program Director of National Health Corps Delaware, Shantel Love brings a deep commitment to community service and equity. A proud New York native, Shantel has built strong connections in the neighborhoods she serves—bridging compassion with action to ensure that no neighbor goes hungry or unseen.
A community advocate at heart, Shantel has spent years designing and leading programs that bring warmth, wellness, and hope to underserved families. Her flagship initiative, Pancakes & PJs, began as a simple act of kindness and has grown into a beloved annual event that provides comfort, meals, and pajamas to hundreds of children and adults. She also leads creative wellness projects such as Humbly Harvested Garden Initiative and Rooted in Wellness, which blend food justice, health equity, and community empowerment.
Beyond her nonprofit work, Shantel is passionate about exploring languages and cultures. A lifelong learner and self-described “introvert-in-progress,” she finds peace in writing, designing, and curating creative projects that nurture both heart and community. When she’s not planning her next event or advocacy campaign, you can find her savoring quiet mornings with coffee, enjoying all things pumpkin spice, or taking a brisk walk in the park.
