Shetal (she/her), is a public health specialist with over 20 years of international and community health experience specializing in project management, curriculum development, training facilitation, global health policy development/implementation, and advocacy, in the areas of HIV/AIDS, reproductive health, and nutrition. For the last 5 years, Shetal worked as a community health and wellness coach, educating clients and community members about metabolic syndrome, diabetes, microbiome health, and nutrition. Shetal received her MPH from the Tulane School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine in New Orleans, LA, and a BS in Biology and Organizational Psychology from the University of Connecticut. She served as rural community health volunteer for the Peace Corps in the South Pacific from 1998-2001.
In her spare time, Shetal loves to travel, go for long hikes and walks with her family, read, and host parties for her loved ones.
