The National Health Corps Florida (NHC Florida) is a program of the National health Corps, a National Direct AmeriCorps Service program. NHC Florida was launched in 2004 and is currently administered by the Northeast Florida Healthy Start Coalition through partnerships with local non-profit and government organizations called host sites.
The mission of the NHC is to foster healthy communities by delivering and connecting those who need it most with health and wellness education, benefits and services, while developing tomorrow's compassionate health leaders.
