Where are you from?

I was born and raised in Fremont (Woo Bay Area!).

Why did you decide to join NHC?

From my firsthand experiences with several socioeconomic, cultural, and educational factors that prevent people from accessing healthcare, I wanted to join NHC to understand health equity better and allow me to serve alongside community members as a companion.

What are you hoping to gain or learn during your service term?

There are multiple skills that I hope to gain with NHC, such as developing my abilities in community outreach and health education. I also would love to gain more experience working collaboratively and communicating across diverse backgrounds.

What are you most looking forward to during your service term?

I am thrilled about the opportunity to help others by effectively educating and holistically empowering patients to reach their health goals. I am dedicated to serving as a voice for the vulnerable by overcoming barriers to equitable, high-quality healthcare.
