Connor Lightcap (he/they) has been the Program Manager for the National Health Corps since November 2022. After graduating from Columbia University with a degree in English, Connor worked in LGBTQ+ healthcare before attending culinary school. As a classically trained pastry chef, he worked in restaurants in NYC before moving to Philadelphia in 2013. Since moving to PA, Connor has worked within the field of food access, most recently creating the position of Culinary Support Services Coordinator at the Health Promotion Council where he provided training and technical assistance to food service staff in the city's transitional housing shelters. He received his Masters of Public Health (Community Health concentration) from Drexel University in 2020.
When Connor isn't at work, he likes to spend time with his loved ones, read, garden, bake, and explore the city. He's constantly on the hunt for Philadelphia's most perfect bowl of ramen.
