New Host Site and Position Available with NHC SF at Ampla Health!

The NHC San Francisco Program is excited to announce our expansion into the heart of the Sacramento Valley with our newest partnership with Ampla Health in Yuba City, California!

Founded in 1964 to primarily serve seasonal and migrant farmworkers and low-income populations, Ampla Health has grown to offer services to all people regardless of their ability to pay. Ampla Health has fourteen medical and six dental centers conveniently located throughout Northern California to patients’ family’s greater access to your health care needs, and offers services throughout Butte, Colusa, Glenn, Sutter, Tehama and Yuba counties.

NHC's new position at Ampla Health, the Ampla Health Care Coordinator, will serve within Ampla Health’s Ryan White HIV Program and will support a variety of public health, community outreach, and quality improvement initiatives. They will assist with outreach events throughout the community, including health fairs, education events, and prevention activities focused on increasing awareness of HIV services, healthcare access, and available community resources. NHC members at Ampla Health will work closely with staff across all levels, making service with Ampla Health a well-rounded, impactful experience for aspiring healthcare professionals! NHC strives to make each program and position unique, impactful, and engaging. Despite the distance between the Sacramento Valley and the San Francisco Bay, the NHC SF Team will remain actively engaged throughout the members’ service term, and the member will continue to work closely with the team in San Francisco and Yuba City.
