Position Summary
The Alternative Payment Method is a new program of the State of California Department of Health Care Services as an option to a select group of FQHC's in 2024. APM is a brand new method to reimburse FQHC's for caring for their Medi-Cal enrollees and users.
The member will serve to provide support in this organizational wide effort which will for the first time, seek to fully document patient-related services other than traditional CPT/ICDA-coded service. These will include: mapping current services workflows as delegated, providing feedback on gaps to Medi-Cal enrollees, tracking data that had not been tracked previously, communication to project stakeholders, and support of enrollees to effectively utilize services.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Modify organizational systems/practices to improve service efficiency
Conduct research, mapping community assets, or reviewing data to strengthen the ability to meet community needs
Engage stakeholders to understand goals, needs, priorities, challenges, and opportunities
Create tracking or data management systems
