Sherrie has served as Program Coordinator National Health Corps since August 2021. She is an Alumni of St. Francis College in Brooklyn NY, where she obtained her BA in Arts Communication with a minor in Advertising and Public Relations. Her professional profile consists of; extensive experience in administrative work, communications, customer service, and media relations. Also experienced working in community/nonprofit organizations, and years of volunteer work. Some of her previous roles include; Social Media Intern, at Child's Play Communications; Online Marketing and Publicity Intern, at Sony Music; Assistant Community Organizer, for the Children's Aid Society; National Operations Manager, for Look Media, LLC ; Assistant Media Planner, at OOH Pitch; and Assistant Program Manager/Small Business Consultant, for the Caribbean American Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Outside of NHC; Sherrie is the owner of Innovative Influence Media LLC, a creative media agency which helps local black led community organizations gain respect and recognition by offering consulting services in Advertising, Branding, Digital Marketing, New Business Innovation, Media Operations, and Organization Strategy. Also the founder of Created by Culture Corporation, a 501c3 Non profit organization. Created By Culture is A Social, Humanitarian, Charitable, Educational, Institution Founded to work for the general upliftment of underserved communities worldwide. The organization focuses on raising funds and promoting initiatives to serve the people who need them most. Sherrie’s goals are continue to hone her skills and garner more knowledge that will help her continue to progress and succeed in her career aspirations.
